A Customer Business Agreement (CBA) between Prudential Bank Limited (PBL) and Mastercard Asia/Pacific Pte Ltd will see Mastercard provide the Bank with sales, marketing, advising, and capacity building support over a five-year period.

The arrangement, which has a value of more than USD 420 000, was just introduced alongside two PBL Mastercard debit cards, the Classic and Business.

The CBA is anticipated to support PBL’s initiatives to increase financial inclusion and encourage cashless transactions for its clients, particularly in the issue and acquisition of different Mastercard products, including as pre-paid, commercial, and consumer debit Mastercards.

The managing director of PBL, Mr. Bernard Appiah Gyebi, spoke at the event and expressed happiness about the relationship.

He added that “this is yet another step towards fulfilling the Bank’s fundamental values of providing our customers with the greatest and most rewarding financial services” and that the cooperation will do a lot to strengthen the relationship between the two businesses.

Prudential Bank has developed an incredible assortment of digital goods and services, and we are thrilled to join with Mastercard to broaden access to financial services and accelerate our growth, according to Mr. Gyebi.

Mrs. Ebehijie Momoh, the Area Head in charge of West Africa, reaffirmed Mastercard’s dedication to provide best-in-class card solutions in line with PBL’s mission to offer the most lucrative banking services to the general population.

Mr Leopold Armah, Head, Digital Transformation (DT), also stated that it had been a pleasure working with Mastercard over the past few months.

He indicated that PBL was looking at driving the adoption of the Bank’s digital services very aggressively, adding that “this strategic partnership will help develop a comprehensive range of services to augment existing services and importantly induce growth within the Cards, PoS and Web Acquiring space”.
